Rudraksha is a Bead which is grown in a Rudraksha tree.
Rudra = Shiva and Aksha = Eyes
Rudraksha means tears of Shiva.
The real meaning = Shiva who removes miseries or it means a holy Bead which will help eradicate sufferings.
Though there are many types of Rudraksha, it is mainly identified and valued based on the number of faces (Mukhis) it possesses. The faces ranges from 1 to 21 and there are few other types as well based on their unique shapes which I have mentioned in my book “Rudraksha”.
Rudraksha has Spiritual, Therapeutic and Materialistic benefits. Rudraksha is available in different sizes, shapes and colours. Rudraksha trees are mostly found in Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal and India. Though Nepal Rudraksha is considered the most revered, it is the Java variety from Indonesia which is available in abundance.
Rudraksha has been used by Hindus for thousands of years. Both the common men and women and the Sadhus (renunciates) are using these holy beads for centuries in India.
Most common people think that Rudraksha is mainly of spiritual value and therefore is used mainly by the spiritualists. However, this is not true and Rudraksha has a wide range of benefits like regulation of blood pressure, improving digesting system, helping women conceive, improving the financial situation, helping improve knowledge, wisdom, concentration, reducing malefic effects of planets, treating psychotic and neurotic disorders etc.
Therefore, Rudraksha is something which everyone can get benefitted from, by wearing or worshiping it. Though many know that Rudraksha can help them in many ways, very few know which one to wear, how to wear and when to wear.
Which Rudraksha you should wear or workship!
Well, there are two or three different ways to find out which Rudraksha suits you the best. One is based on your Birth star or Janma Nakshatra and Janma Rashi, other one is based on your birth number. But, I suggest the right Rudraksha (either one or a combination of Rudrakshas) based on your needs and expectations after a detailed discussion and analysis using the concepts of both Astrology & Numerology.
